Practice area Details

The practice areas set out below reflect the office’s principal areas of focus and do not constitute an exhaustive definition of the matters we handle. Each situation is considered on its own merits, and we remain available for matters falling outside those expressly listed.

Commercial Arbitration

The office assists clients who elect to resolve their commercial disputes through arbitration, whether in a domestic or international context. As a mechanism better suited to the nature of commercial disputes than ordinary court proceedings, arbitration offers concrete advantages in terms of confidentiality, timeframes, and procedural flexibility.

The office intervenes at the pre-dispute stage in reviewing and drafting arbitration clauses in commercial contracts, and during proceedings in managing the arbitral procedure and representing its clients before the arbitral tribunal. It also assists clients with the formalities relating to the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

The office’s arbitration practice is grounded in a dual perspective: that of counsel before the arbitral tribunal, and that drawn from Brahim Boujid’s experience as president of arbitral tribunals, particularly in commercial disputes. That experience allows the office to understand what arbitrators expect, to anticipate procedural issues, and to build a case that responds to the actual demands of arbitral proceedings.
